Hello! I am so glad you decided to click over to Reaping Joy! While you are here, I pray that you are encouraged in your various God-given roles. It is my desire to share with you the power and strength of God’s Word as you live out your “real-life” life and to be transparent with you as I live out mine.
Along with sharing Scripture and real-life with you, occasionally I will also tell you about some of the many wonderful books that have impacted my life through the years. Some books become like best friends: they alter your course and you are never the same!
In addition, I would consider it a great privilege to pray for you. If you’ve been on this journey long enough, it comes as no surprise to you that the path we are traveling can seem long and tiresome at times, growing rough and dark. As a result, we become so weary, stumbling only to rise bruised or even broken. Please know that I will be praying for you…
so that you do not grow weary in doing good, for if you do not give up, you WILL reap a harvest. Galatians 6:9
Remember… those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy! Psalm 126:5
Offering the Lord a sacrifice of praise when you least feel like it – through the small annoyances of your day, the minor inconveniences of your week, or during the most painful and trying circumstances of your life – is the secret to great and lasting joy!
Hebrews 13:15-16 tells us, “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess His name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
May God be glorified as we live for Jesus… joyfully, hopefully, and eternally!
~Blessings,
Becky
